    Abstract:

    With the development of water transportation in China,the safe operation of large ship locks is crucial.To ensure the stability and safety of ships docked in the lock,it is necessary to monitor the operation status of the floating mooring column in real-time.Considering that the load sensitive area of the floating mooring column is directly related to the deployment of monitoring sensors,but there is still a lack of systematic research on this issue.Therefore,this paper relies on a large ship lock project,builds a three-dimensional numerical model of floating mooring column structure,and studies strain paths of the floating mooring column under at different mooring forces and mooring angles based on finite element numerical simulation method.The results show that the load sensitive area of floating mooring column structure by mooring force effect is near the welding position between the hollow cylinder of the floating mooring column and the fixed steel plate,which can provide a reference for the installation of the floating mooring column strain gauge and future work.
