    Abstract:

Considering the characteristics of the lock chamber wall in Hangzhou Babao Lock of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, this paper introduces a mobile mold frame and belt conveyor feeding system for the integral pouring of the lock chamber wall. A set-shaped steel formwork integrally supports the high lock chamber wall through the mobile mold frame. Meanwhile, the low slump concrete pouring of the belt conveyor feeding system enables the one-time integral pouring of low slump concrete, which avoids water seepage and misalignment of layered joints. The proposed method solves the problem that large volume concrete with a high slump is prone to form cracks by the conventional pumping process, thereby enhancing the construction efficiency and internal and external quality of the lock chamber wall.
