In view of the problems such as poor integration of survey data and information,tedious updating of drawings,low visualization of two-dimensional drawings,and complex calculation of quantities in the design of waterway regulation project,BIM technology is used to create a parameterized three-dimensional model,integrate construction information,display the design scheme with BIM technology,and visualize the construction schedule.The following conclusions are drawn:1)The design scheme based on BIM technology has the characteristics of integrity,rapidity and accuracy.2)The visual expression is more intuitive,which improves the calculation accuracy of engineering quantity and reduces the risk of rework.3)It can reduce the communication cost for the construction company,assist the construction technicians to optimize the construction scheme,and provide an effective technical means for the fine management of the project.
