Abstract:
The deepwater breakwater for a refinery & chemical integration supporting crude oil terminal project locates at waters with complicated natural conditions. So,we recalculate the design wave elements by numerical simulation. Because the original design wave elements’ values are small, the breakwater was damaged by typhoon in the process of construction. According to the new design wave elements and newly implemented codes,we improve the design standard of the breakwater and optimize its design scheme. The physical model tests verifies that it is feasible to adopt the super-large accropode and the new-type double-layer accropode armor structure, which may serve as reference for similar engineering design.
