Abstract:Based on the analysis of the navigation status and current river regime evolution of the north channel in the Yangtze River estuary,this paper points out that water depth deficiency in the mouth bar section is the main factor affecting the navigation conditions in the north channel.The regulation project scheme of the north channel should consider the relationship and influence of surrounding water projects,flood control and damp proof,water resource utilization and ecological environment protection.This paper applies the flow mathematical model to evaluate the regulation effect of the scheme.The results show that the channel regulation effect is good in terms of flow field dynamics,the channel planning objectives can be achieved by dredging.
