    Abstract:

The design for water and power supply structure is an important part of the design of port engineering.Based on the finite element method,we compare the calculation methods of three specifications in the structural design of conventional structures of port engineering according to Chinese GB 50010—2010,American ACI 318 M-2014 and British BS 8110-1:1997,obtain the differences and similarities of the calculation of flexural strength, shear strength, eccentric compression strength, crack width and the checking calculation for bearing capacity of foundation in the three specifications, and illustrate the specific steps and differences in the calculation according to different specifications by typical engineer examples. The results show that the volume steel content of water and power supply structure in port engineering calculated by American specification or British specification is larger than that of Chinese specification.
