    Abstract:

    In order to verify the rationality of the process system of Khalifa Port container terminal phase II,four aspects including the overall terminal capacity,horizontal transportation capacity,container area ultimate handling capacity and gate capacity of the projection design scheme are simulated by using eM-Plant simulation software of object-oriented modeling. Simulation results show that the layout of each link of the process system is basically reasonable.Meanwhile,operation suggestions are given in terms of equipment scheduling and traffic management,which may serve as guidance for the operator to carry out targeted production management and realize efficient operation of the handling system in the terminal.
