    Abstract:

    Based on the Khalifa Port Container Terminal (Phase II) project,we research the container terminal’s operation efficiency of the 3E container ship,and propose 4 modes for the mooring line arrangement.According to the mooring simulation analysis,we obtain the optimal line arrangement mode L3.The wind speed under the survival and operational conditions are obtained as 13.8 m/s and 10.1 m/s respectively.
