    Abstract:

    The original dredge pump impeller adopts cylindrical blades,which makes the flow passage smaller and the dredge pump efficiency lower.In view of the problem,we develop a three-bladed impeller with twisted blades without changing the outer dimensions of the impeller,test the hydraulic characteristics of the impellers of different number of blades under water and slurry conditions,analyze the water and slurry characteristics of the dredge pump,and compare the characteristics of the two different impellers.The results show that the newly developed twisted blade impeller increases by 40% of the maximum passing diameter,and the dredge pump efficiency increases by 10%.It can provide the references for the similar projects.
