    Abstract:

    The main structure of the bank wall of the west artificial island for the passage from Shenzhen to Zhongshan consists of 57 large diameter(28 m)steel cylinders and auxiliary lattices to form a water-stopping cofferdam.The cost of steel cylinder is high.The corrosion resistance of steel cylinder is poor,and the later maintenance cost is high in sea water environment.We design a cylinder scheme of steel and reinforced concrete composite structure,which replaces the steel cylinder.We compare the reliability,feasibility and economy of this structure with steel cylinder.The results show that the cylinder scheme of steel and reinforced concrete composite structure is generally feasible,high reliability and low cost,which can provide certain references for similar projects.
