    Abstract:

    There are few natural harbor shoreline resources left in the developed coastal areas of China.In recent years,a number of large dig-in harbor basins have been constructed or planned in the areas that can be used in the coastal areas.Because of the advantages of making full use of the coastline,favorable cover conditions and easy management,dig-in harbor basin layouts are widely used in the world.The design wave element of basin is one of the important research parameters in the process of wharf design.At present,the mainstream commercial software MIKE 21 SW wave model and MIKE 21 BW wave model have their own shortcomings in calculating the wave field in basin with a wide range.Taking Hengsha large-scale harbor basin as an example,the calculation results of several different wave estimation methods are compared,and a method combining MIKE 21 SW and MIKE 21 BW wave models is proposed.
