With the development of terminal automation technology,more and more automated terminals are on the construction all over the world.Compared with the traditional manual stowage mode,the automatic stowage has plenty of advantages.By using logic algorithm,allocation strategy and parameters,it achieves “one key stow”,and also shortens stowage time and improves stowage precision,which satisfies the requirements of shipping company’s differentiated stowage.It gives overall consideration to the characteristics of the stacking yard and mechanical equipment,reduces the congestion of yard,improves the efficiency of terminal’s work,and improves the overall efficiency of terminal operation.This paper mainly studies the application and effects of the automatic stowage system in Qingdao automated container terminal,which may serve as reference for the automated container terminal stowage and loading operation.
