    Abstract:

    The distribution law and calculation method of earth pressure inside embed steel plate cylinder structure have been carried out aiming at the problems of diversity of theory and big difference of calculation results.Combined with the X37 # steel cylinder of the west artificial island of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Tunnel Project,the soil pressure in the cylinder was analyzed by using the finite element software PLAXIS 3D and various theoretical calculation methods.The results show that the earth pressure inner cylinder does not increase with the increase of depth,and the Ku La Yi Ning method calculated results are consistent with the results of 3D finite element software analysis,so the Ku La Yi Ning method can be used to calculate the earth pressure inner cylinder.The analysis results can provide a basis for the calculation of the horizontal tension of the steel cylinder,so as to determine the thickness of the steel cylinder wall reasonably.
