Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the rationality of the current design method of container corner load in the pavement of China’s port,we carry out the statistical analysis of the distribution law of container weight in seven important ports in China at present,and point out the deficiencies of container corner design load in the current The Load Code for Harbor Engineering and The Design Code of Road and Storage Yard for Port Area.The former adopts the reduction coefficient method based on the container redistribution data of British ports,which is not in line with China’s situation and seriously small.The latter cannot reflect the difference of port design requirements with different degrees of importance.Furthermore,we propose some suggestions on determining the corner load of container in pavement structure design.The results improve the design method of container corner design load in China,which has important value and significance for the construction and use of port pavement.
