Based on the analysis of the problems of deformation and damage to local areas of YR1 bank of Yanziwo waterway in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,we propose a scheme of reinforcing YR1 bank with block stones,which can achieve the goal of restraining scouring,stabilizing key parts and preventing continuous scouring of beach protection structures.The research results can provide reference for similar beach protection structures in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
