Abstract:When long period waves act on riprap dike, part of the waves can penetrate the pores between the rocks, thus affecting the harbor mooring stability.Based on the Indonesian project, the variation of penetration coefficient with wave period, wave height and wave type is studied by wave section physical model test.Based on the wave integral mooring physical model test, the corresponding mooring stability conditions of barge terminal and bulk cargo terminal are studied.Combined with the test results, the influence of wave penetration on the mooring conditions is analyzed. The results show that:the wave penetration coefficient of riprap dike decreases with the increase of wave height and increases with the increase of the period;the longer the period is,the smaller the wave height of the ship is allowed to operate;the wave penetration coefficient of long period waves has great effect on mooring and should be taken into account in the design. The test results can provide reference for the design of the wharf behind the riprap.
