Numerical simulation of shear keys distribution coefficient in steel tubular pile

    Abstract:

    It often regards as a connection way to connect the tubular pipe and the upper structure of wharf in the deep sea engineering.The width,the thickness and the distance among the shear keys are treated as important factors to decide the capacity of it.The distance among the shear keys is a very significant factor affecting the force mechanism especially in the case of multiple keys.At present,there is no systematic conclusion in the relevant specifications in China.We adopt ABAQUS software to establish the axial force model of 14 section three-dimensional steel tubular pile,and verify by Gebman test.The results show that the stress sensitive area is from 75 mm to 200 mm for the two shear keys,and from 100 mm to 150 mm for the three shear keys.As the number of keys increases,the sensitive region is compressed.
