Numerical analysis and model validation of cooperative stress mechanism of reinforced concrete-filled steel tube structure

    Abstract:

    Taking the rock foundation of the second stage of Guoyuan Port as the prototype,we carry out axial compression test of six steel casing-reinforced concrete short column structures and two concrete-filled steel tube columns.Based on ABAQUS finite element software,we take the thickness of steel casing,reinforcement ratio and stirrup ratio as parameters to analyze.The results show that the steel casing and the stirrup have restraint effect on the core concrete in the steel casing-reinforced concrete short column structure,and the double restraining effect is obvious.The restraining effect of the steel casing and the stirrup on the core concrete can effectively suppression of cracks in concrete causes the steel casing to have higher bearing capacity,plasticity and toughness than conventional steel tube concrete structures.The restraining effect of stirrups on concrete has significant influence on the bearing capacity,ductility and ductility of steel casing and reinforced concrete short columns.With the decrease of the spacing between stirrups,the bearing capacity and ductility of the components are increasing obviously.
