For more and more ground settlement problems in large scale land reclamation projects,the paper has studied an often used settlement calculation method-De Beer method.Through the in-situ test data of support project,the parameters of De Beer calculation method has been studied,and an appropriate settlement calculation method has been obtained.At last,through the comparison of the predicted settlement of the measured data in site,the calculation method and process mentioned have been proved to be useful for settlement calculation in large scale land reclamation projects.
