In view of the loss of measurement data integration information and the cumbersome updating of models in the application of BIM technology in waterway improvement projects,we use the Autodesk BIM platform to study the key technology of BIM technology applied in waterway regulation engineering and elaborate the implementation method,which was applied to the water channel improvement project in the Wuhan-Anqing waterway and the Yanziwo waterway.The study result may serve as reference for the application of BIM technology in the waterway improvement project.
