    Abstract:

Taking a practical port project for example,we carry out a case study based on the summary and analysis of the construction condition. In view of the complicated shielding condition,we determine the specific shielding standard and select reasonable design wave elements according to the implementation schedule of surrounding works. The overall construction scheme chooses an offshore high-piled structure that requires a relatively high investment but shorter construction period. The wharf structure is firstly built and followed by harbor dredging so as to effectively reduce the construction period. The influence on pile foundations exerted by harbor dredging is analyzed by the Plaxis geotechnical finite element analysis software, and the result shows that the bending moment of the pile foundation increases significantly under consideration of the soil deformation caused by harbor dredging. The overall construction scheme for this project covering the determination of the shielding standard by stages, the deployment of offshore wharf, the filling for land area and the arrangement of constructing wharf structure first and harbor dredging followed has achieved great benefits.
