Aiming at the application of BIM technology in waterway regulation project,we probe into the route,key technology and application content of BIM technology in the whole life period of waterway regulation project.Using Autodesk BIM platform and CityMaker 3D GIS platform,we establish the BIM technology route and key technology and apply them to the design,construction,maintenance and management of waterway regulation project.And the demonstration application is carried out in Heishazhou waterway regulation project and Yanziwo waterway regulation project.The results show that this method can be applied to the whole life of the Yangtze River waterway regulation project,which can provide reference for the application of BIM technology to the waterway regulation project in the future.
