Multimodal transport can take advantage of various transport modes adequately, which has positive significance to promote cost decreasing and benefit increasing of logistics industry and to improve modern comprehensive transportation system. Wuhan Yangluo Port meets each requirement of developing multimodal transport, but it is lack of systematic planning of multimodal transport development. Advantages of comprehensive transport cannot be utilized efficiently for the reason of neglect of developing multimodal transport. Correlative suggestions should be put forward by studying development experience, thinking development ideas, discussing layout planning and service improvement of port multimodal transport.
