In the process of land reclamation consolidation,it is easy to form soft clay packages,which bring difficulties to the analysis and explanation of the field test data.So it is important to locate soft clay packages.This paper proposes a method of detecting the soft clay packages formed in land reclamation consolidation process with Rayleigh wave.The lateral resolution is improved with two-channal Rayleigh wave method,and cone penetration test is conducted simultaneously.The comparison of the two methods shows the validation of Rayleigh wave method in detection of the soft clay package.Two-channal Rayleigh wave velocity hot map for a larger range can be drawn by test several times continuously in a line,from which soft clay packages and their basic properties can be seen directly.
