Abstract:The high-piled wharf faces potential safety hazard due to large displacement while subjected to large horizontal force.So,this paper carries out the research on the magnitude of resistance to horizontal force of batter-piles and horizontal braces in high-piled wharf.The influence of the inclination and rotation angle of the batter-piles on the internal force and displacement of the fascia beams and piles is discussed in this paper,basing on the high-pile bent frame structure model established by CAD integrated software for transport engineering structures.Meanwhile,the comparison about magnitude of resistance to horizontal force between batter-piles and horizontal braces is conducted.The result shows that the effect of reducing the displacement of the bent structure with batter-piles is much better than the structure with horizontal braces while subjected to horizontal force.
