Based on the functional orientation and development requirements of Huashan operation area in Wuhan new port,we carry out an analysis of the port layout,elevation design and traffic organization in combination with the development status,location and terrain conditions of port. According to the characteristics and conditions of land resources and considering the requirements of different port functional areas on the land area,we put forward a rational layout plan. Based on the analysis of flood control,harbor drainage,traffic,as well as earthwork balance,we design the harbor elevation system,important node elevation control and harbor traffic organization,so as to provide reference for the planning and design of inland container port area under complex terrain conditions.
