This paper summarizes differences of liquid limit tests between Chinese and other countries’ standards or codes including GB/T 50123, JTG E40 and BS1377. Combining the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge project, some useful experiential relations are obtained after statistics and analysis of the results of liquid limit tests under different standards or codes, which can provide guidances for the future work.
