Concerning detection of reinforcement protection layer thickness and spacing for the shipway structures, this paper robes into the application of ground-penetrating radar to the detection of protective layer’s thickness of the large-size reinforced concrete structure, which not only remedies the defects of existing magnetic detection equipment, but also expands the scope of application of the ground-penetrating radar.
