    Abstract:

    To present a novel method to solve the problem of interaction between waves and floating body moored with tension cables quickly and factually, this paper establishes the numerical wave tank based on 2D boundary element method (BEM), in which, the role from tension cables is presented with mooring stiffness matrix.Contrasting the results with those by other scholars, we know that the program is reliable, and the method is beneficial to the research and design on ocean engineering.
