Surcharge preloading method is most commonly used in ground treatment. But the detection analysis in shortly time after the reinforcement effect is lacked. This paper analyzes the relationship between the soil physical, mechanical indicators and the soil depth after 20 days of surcharge preloading, based on the measured data of soft soil treatment in a container yard of South China. It may provide a reference for the design and construction of similar reclamation engineerings.
