Based on related researches of mathematics and physical model tests, this essay conducts a comparative analysis and optimization design of the general layout, especially the entrance layout, for the breakwater engineering of Guang’ao port in Shantou harbor, which mainly focuses on the layout planning, sheltering effect,construction procedure, initial investment, and sustainable development, etc.
