This paper analyzes the present situation, planning and opportunities of the ports, researches the development direction, planning ideas and development orientation of the ring-lake ports, in the background of implementing the national development strategy of Poyang lake ecological economic zone in Jiangxi province;constructing for water hub project of Poyang lake and the development requirement of social economy for the lake area.
