    Abstract:

    In order to research the effect of river beach protection engineering and scour hole reduced by the engineering, we take a typical river beach protection engineering as an example and set a large-scale local movable bed generalized model to research the fishbone type beach protection engineering. According to specific conditions of the model experiment, we analyze the feasibility of this method and give the model result of fishbone type beach protection engineering. The results show that this method can not only compare the beach protection effect among different engineering layout plans easily, but also get the morphological parameters of local scour hole, which gives a better guidance to the engineering design.
