    Abstract:

    Using OPTIMOOR software and aiming at decreasing the ship movement under the environment load and averaging the lines tension distribution, we optimize the mooring lines’ layout of open sea terminal through contrasting different line materials, adjusting line length and modulating the pre-tensile-force. The results show that the increase of the lines length can reduce the tension, fitting of tail ropes can decrease dynamic loads of wire mooring lines and ship movement, the application of proper pre-tensile-force can decline the ship movement and average the lines’ tension distribution. It is suggested to choose wire lines in large vessels.
