This paper introduces the technologies of driving HZ/AZ combined steel sheet piles in Nansha port area of Guangzhou port grain and general-purpose wharf. In this project, the guide frame was specially designed,and the equipments are reasonably transformed. Piles are first inserted by the vibrator, and then driven to the design depth by hammer. The results show that both HZ-shape pile and AZ-shape pile are driven to the design depth with good quality. The technology may serve as a reference for similar projects.
