Abstract:
This paper analyzes the working principle, damage mechanism and monitoring indices of the highpile wharf and introduces the application of the inclinometer in wharf monitoring based on a case study of a river wharf engineering monitoring project. By pooled analysis of dynamic data from continuous monitoring, we obtained the real-time displacement of soil structure and built the displacement-depth curve of each monitoring point. This paper also analyzes the reason of displacement at each monitoring point and discusses the pattern and influential factors of the horizontal displacement rate. The limitations of inclinometer are summarized from the problems occurred in the project.
