    Abstract:

    This paper probes into the mechanical properties of slab pier terminal of Naxigou and studies the application prospect of the slab pier terminal in the Three Gorges reservoir. The results show that the slab pier terminal can adapt to the long-duration deep water after the impoundment of the Three Gorges. This kind of structural type can not only improve the construction level, but also increase the bent spacing, so as to realize allweather construction of the terminal and improve the safety of the wharf structure. It will be widely used as a new terminal structure in the fluctuating backwater area of Three Gorges reservoir area.
