Abstract:Perforating on armoring concrete slabs can increase the permeating coefficient of the armoring layer, reduce the uplift forces, and strengthen the overall stability of the slabs. A series of experimental tests on irregular waves were carried out to analyze how steepness, gradient of the slope, porosity and ξ influence the value of relative net uplift forces of the concrete armoring slabs, and the impact depth and distribution of the relative uplift forces. For the concrete slabs without pores, the relative net uplift forces decrease with the increase of the wave height and wave length; as for the concrete slabs with pores, the relative net uplift forces decrease with the increase of porosity.
