    Abstract:

    The construction of hydroelectric engineering in navigable rivers can improve the waterway by cascading or canalizing rivers, and promote hydropower development and navigation construction as well. The navigation influences from hydroelectric engineering are discussed, and some countermeasures and research approaches eliminating or reducing the influence are also expounded. The results may serve as a reference for project management, planning and design departments, especially for planning and design departments of noncommunications industries.
