    Abstract:

    With the declining of excellent shorelines and the gradual functioning of the Three Gorges, the traditional piles frame cannot ensure the function and safety in the high-backfilled slope in the mountainous regions of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. To solve this problem, we introduce the gravity pier in the engineering project r. According to the calculation results of the finite element analysis software ADINA, gravity piers foundation frame has better reliability and safety than the traditional piles frame. In this paper, we summarize the engineering works of a wharf project in the mountainous area upstream of the Yangtze River, hoping to provide a reference for similar works.
