According to the new requirements on the Yangtze River shipping credit construction in the new period of the transportation development, this paper analyzes the current status of the Yangtze River shipping credit management to find out the existing problems, point out the inadaptability between the Yangtze River shipping credit management and the development of transportation industry. The general idea of constructing the Yangtze River shipping credit system and the idea of establishing a unified shipping credit platform are put forward. The construction of the “one centre three databases” credit file system is to take the lead in the Three Gorges reach as a breakthrough to gradually improve the construction of the Yangtze River shipping credit system.
