Abstract:According to the management requirements for railways and waterways, research has been conducted on long-term navigation standards, waterway reef removal plan, and construction organization, with a focus on the advance reef removal work for the Yangtze River tunnel of the Chongqing-Qianjiang railway, which crosses the Zhu’erqi shoal reach of the Yangtze waterway.Through a comprehensive analysis combining the current ship types with the design ship types for the Three Gorges new waterway,it is proposed that 5,000-10,000 DWT inland single ships and 350 TEU container ships can be used as representative ship types for the long term, and a waterway construction standard of 6.2 m×150 m×1,000 m is determined.Based on the waterway standards, the safe drift distance of buoys in mountainous rivers and the allowable distance for blasting vibration to the safety of railway tunnels,a reef removal plan is proposed, which involves removing reefs upstream and downstream of the tunnel centerline by 200 m in the longitudinal direction,170 m in the transverse direction and with a water depth of 6.2 m.Based on the analysis of the characteristic water levels in the project area during the year,a construction plan for separate channels with the southern channel for low water and the northern channel for high water is proposed, effectively solving the contradiction between construction and navigation in the construction area located in the main navigation channel. The research results can provide technical references for the implementation of the reef blasting project of the Yangtze River Tunnel on the Chongqing-Qianjiang Railway and similar projects.
