Abstract::In view of the problems of low modeling efficiency,insufficient model accuracy and difficulty in producing construction drawings for high-pile approach-bridge structures in port engineering in the process of BIM design,a secondary development research on Revit platform is carried out.Through the construction of a parametric design software module for high-pile approach bridges that fits with the forward design workflow,some key functions like basic data import,parametric model building,one-click drawing and one-click quantity calculation are achieved.The module supports intuitive input of the 2D source data and parameter information of the building,and drives the software to automatically produce 3D information models,construction drawings and engineering quantity statistics tables.Engineering applications show that the module can increase the modeling efficiency of high-pile approach bridge by about 60%,and reduce the time of drawing production and quantity calculation by about 45%,and achieve effective integration among the model,drawings and quantity data.The conclusion indicates that this study provides a parametric and automated as well as deliverable solutions for BIM design of high-pile approach bridges,which greatly enhances the quality and efficiency of the BIM design of high-pile approach bridges,and promotes the in-depth application and practical development of the BIM technology in port engineering
